Methodrone members Christopher Kramer aka DJ Kramer and Scott Gockerman aka (sg) both grew up in small, suburban towns, and both felt the calling of the local metropolis and the beat of the drum. Kramer, a DJ and Scott, a live musician had never much thought of working in each others respective worlds, but what did bring the two of them together was a shared love of a music that could take you to a special place, and the belief that music is not just a thing, but a place for and of community. It was a chance meeting while the two were living in San Francisco that made Methodrone possible.

The Methodrone partnership proved to be fruitful from the beginning with their first week of production sessions resulting in an astounding 18 songs. In the ensuing year of bi-costal recording sessions, the team finished their first release “Nonlinear Reality”, and music for a follow up is close behind.
